Against diagnosis

Diagnosis lies at the heart of medicine and health care. But is it all that it’s cracked up to be? Sometimes a diagnosis can be turn out to be confusing, stigmatising, frightening – or just plain wrong. Doctors and other health professionals often work effectively without one anyway.
