It’s great news to hear that a group of doctors and health professionals in the Republic of Ireland have set up Narrative Practice Ireland to promote the approach there. They are all enthusiasts who have attended workshops, courses or presentations on CIC or heard about it from colleagues. They have just announced their first course in Dublin during November 2022. Participants will see a recorded lecture by John Launer followed by a one-day live workshop on Saturday 5 November at St James’ Hospital Dublin and an online workshop on the evening of Monday 14 November. The course is fully booked already but you can contact anph.org for details of other workshops and courses in CIC the UK and Ireland in the New Year.
