Introducing the hermeneutic window: finding meaning in the healthcare consultation

Hermeneutics is the art of interpretation or translation. In a new article in the British Journal of General Practice, educators Rupal Shah, Bob Clarke, Sanjiv Ahluwalia and John Launer propose a hermeneutic approach to the healthcare consultation. There are strong connections with narrative-based practice and CIC gets a mention in the citations. If you subscribe to the journal you can read it here. Or see the screenshots here.
